Madelyn Sickle is a second year law student committed to environmental advocacy and justice. At UCI Law, she currently serves as the Chair for the Environmental Law Society, works in the Environmental Law Clinic, and assists Professor Camacho with his research related to the history of environmental law. After her first year, she worked for the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office in the Environmental and Consumer Protections Unit. This summer she will be interning for Surfrider Foundation.

Prior to law school, Madelyn studied Political Science and Fine Arts at the University of Washington. During her time in Seattle, she deepened her admiration for the outdoors. Through surfing and hiking, she connected with environmental advocacy groups which inspired her to go to law school.
